Immersed Gaming is the creative collaboration of Marc DeBlasi, Robert Baylock, and Fabio Escobar. We first thought of creating Immersed Gaming in March of 2011. At this time, I was affiliated with a different video game blog. When I left, I was determined to create my own company, but bigger and better than I had participated in before. After I left, I still had the passion and the desire to go forward. I called upon two of my best friends who had the same video game knowledge and ability as I do, as well as the same passion for video games. In May of 2011, our newly formed company was deemed “EXPgamers” and we had begun the process of seeking out partners and creating youtube videos. However, we were doomed to fail. The name we had chosen at random had been previously taken. As a result, we had to come back together to brainstorm a new name. In the process of creating a new name, we were inspired to succeed and worked hard to create what you see today. Immersed Gaming was officially born on August 4th, 2011. We had the unique pleasure of having Kayla McGregor as our our Community Relations Representative for a few months, and will always cherish her and be thankful for how much she helped us.

        We will be bringing you video game news, reviews and scoops right here on Immersed Gaming as well as kick-ass videos like walkthroughs, Let’s Plays, commentaries, tips & tricks, and many more on our youtube channel. On our twitter feed you will be able to find quick links and updates from our blog on the most recent news, as well as whatever may be on our minds at the time. You will also be able to find some exclusive first hand news about Immersed Gaming, as well as future contest information on our facebook page. You can also check out The Immersed Pod, our weekly gaming podcast. This is not the only content you will be seeing from us. We have much more on the way in the future, but we will keep that secret for now.

Now, our goal is to become a driving force in the video game industry. We will be working long and hard to get this company off the ground and to you, the reader. We promise to “Immerse” ourselves completely in this company, and do what is best for it’s interest, and the interest of the viewers. Please, spread the word, because Immersed Gaming is on the way.
